Vitamins & Supplements for Kids

I've searched high and low for a vitamin as pure and beneficial as Mary Ruth's Vitamins. Finding a good, raw, pure multi-vitamin is not an easy task and I've spent so much dang time on finding my favorite!

Many mass-market vitamins that you'll find in the store contain harmful toxic ingredients that they use to preserve their vitamins. There are limited nutrients on the labels (comparatively) and our bodies can't break them down.

Mary Ruth's Vitamins are the best I've found and I’ve loved using them for years!

Vitamins can help boost your immune system, help you through sickness, and help to prevent sickness...and your focus should remain on eating good foods: whole foods, are most important to nourishing your body and your children's bodies, and they help you break down vitamins - so you have to start there.

THE MARY RUTH'S VITAMINS I USE CONSISTENTLY:

MORNING MULTIVITAMIN:

Frequency: Everyday

Age 12 month: 1/4 tsp

Age 2-3 yrs: 1/2 tsp

Age 4-8 yrs: 1 tsp

NIGHTTIME MULTIMINERAL:

Magnesium increases blood flow. This helps relax our bodies and can help with restless legs, growing pains, or cramping. This nighttime mineral helps my kids sleep, make sure to not give too much.

I personally use the same dosing as the morning multivitamin, I just give it to my kids less days.

This works wonders on my oldest child

Frequency: 2-3x/week

Age 12 month: 1/4 tsp

Age 2-3 yrs: 1/2 tsp

Age 4-8 yrs: 1 tsp

PROBIOTIC:

So much of our immune system is in our gut, these keep your gut healthy. It tastes like water and has so many good live cultures. My favorite probiotic by far!

Frequency: 3-4/week

Age 1-3 yrs: 1 pump or .5ml

Age 4-12 yrs: 2 pumps or 1.0 ml

Age 12yrs-Adult: 4 pumps

B12:

B12 is sooo important for our bodies! It improves your energy, mental function, memory, etc. For this reason, I give myself a little spray every morning when I wake up and when I go to work at the hospital! ; )

Our bodies don't actually make B12, we have to get it from other sources. So, it's that must more important to find it in our foods or by adding in this supplement.

B12 is found in meat, fish, and poultry.

I personally feel good about giving my kids B12 because it's a water-soluble vitamin, so anything their body can't store they just pee it on out!

I highly recommend this B12 spray, especially for adults, anyone with GI Issues, Anemia, Low Energy, Hair-Skin-Nail problems, Vegan Diets, Children.

Kids: 1 spray
