Is Meghan Markle About to Launch a Beauty Line?

What To Expect From Meghan Markle's Beauty Brand

The Duchess of Sussex has long been vocal about her interest in beauty. You don't make it through eight seasons of hit TV show like Suits without spending hours and even days in the make-up chair. It was on set that she built a relationship with her now very good friend and go-to make-up artist Daniel Martin, and on her now deleted blog 'The Tig' Meghan plugged her make- up favourites and skincare essentials. Then there's the wellness element. While Meghan may not be a Goop-level health obsessive, she does, thanks to her instructor mother, have a passion for yoga. It stands to reason then, that this is something the Duchess is well placed for. So what could we expect?

A royal of the woke variety, she'd undoubtedly tick all the sustainability, vegan, cruelty-free, and planet-friendly boxes. Presumably she wouldn't compromise on quality either. Meghan once told Allure she loved Tatcha's The Rice Polish Classic, £139, saying 'it just sort of foams on your face and gives you a really subtle exfoliation,' and Jan Marini serums, the prices for which start at £87. She went on to say that her 'five minute face' involves YSL Beauty Touche Éclat, £27, MAC Cosmetics' Eyeliner in Teddy, £15 and NARS Cosmetics Blush in Orgasm, £25. In summary, a conscious, results-driven brand that aligned to a social cause? Bingo.

Pictured here at New York Fashion Week in 2014 Meghan is clearly entirely free of any royal fashion constraints, and that means a heavier make-up look is entirely allowed too. Hello smokey eyes!

bareMinerals Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner, £15 We love this super-soft twist-up pencil liner. It's great for creating a bold, smoky line, and smudging with the spongy tool at the other end of the pencil. It lasts all day, too.

What's not to love about Meghan Markle's wedding make-up? Subtly defined eyes, barely-there blush, rose pink lips and thick, luscious lashes. Meghan reportedly wore a pair of Velour falsies on her wedding day, and conveniently the brand has recently launched in the UK! Shop the very lashes below.

We're always head over heels for Meghan Markle's lashes. That curl, the depth of colour, the length the thickness. How does she lock down her lash look? She once recommended an £8.99 mascara to her make-up artist at the time Lydia Sellers. That mascara was Maybelline's Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara. Duly noted!
