All The Drugstore Beauty Products Celebrities Wore on The 2020 Golden Globes Red Carpet

If you were to add up the prices of all the beauty products used by everyone on the 2020 Golden Globes red carpet, the total would very likely be astronomical. After all, we already know that some celebrities' skin-care routines alone reach well over $1,000, thanks to a number of high-end creams and serums. But not every beauty product on stars' faces or holding their hair in place is expensive. The Golden Globes also serves as a forum to find your new favorite, budget-friendly, drugstore makeup and hair products.

You'd never know just by looking at them, but some celebrities' Golden Globes looks come in under $20 — proof that it doesn't take a fortune to kill it on the red carpet (though a professional glam team definitely doesn't hurt).

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren was regal in red, thanks in part to a lip liner and lipstick combination from L’Oréal Paris. Makeup artist Jo Strettell layered on a base of L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Anti-Feathering Lipliner in Rich Cranberry ($10), followed by a coat of Age Perfect Luminous Hydrating Lipstick + Nourishing Serum in Perfect Burgundy ($11).

Phoebe Waller-Bridge

As Fleabag fans know, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is very particular about her hair, and she chooses to use affordable products from Goldwell Kerasilk. Stylist Dennis Gots used Goldwell Kerasilk Style Bodifying Volume Mousse ($24), Style Enhancing Curl Creme ($30) to smooth over the ends, and Style Fixing Effect Hairspray ($30) for an evening’s worth of hold.

Winnie Harlow

Winnie Harlow opted for a major eye on the red carpet, and as we all know a look this bold can't be accomplished without lashes. She used Eylure Luxe Silk Lashes in ‘Emerald’ ($12), which added another jewel-tone layer to her crystallized fringe gown.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson's glow on the red carpet came courtesy of well-prepped skin, thanks to Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($8). Layer on before makeup for this lit-from-within look, plus hydration that'll last all evening long.

Nicole Kidman

“Concealer is the most important part of any red carpet look," says Kate Synnott, Nicole Kidman's makeup artist. She opted for Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Cream Concealer ($15), then built Kidman's look with Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Classic Red ($8), Neutrogena Precision Liquid Eyeliner ($10), and Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Setting Spray ($15).
